BDS · Fellowship in Pediatric Restorative Dentistry — Dombivli's dedicated children's dentist
Most children who had a bad dental experience somewhere else come in nervous — and leave relaxed. This is not an accident. It is a skill Dr. Sayli has spent years developing.
She tells the child what she will do, shows them on a model or her own hand, and only then proceeds. The child is never surprised. This is the internationally approved method for child-friendly dentistry.
She takes the time a child needs. If they need 5 minutes to calm down, she waits. If they want to see the instrument first, she shows them. The child's comfort always comes before the schedule.
No scary dental words. She explains everything in plain Marathi or Hindi — "We are going to clean your tooth and put a protective coat, like a shield." Parents also understand every step.
Dental fear in children is real. Dr. Sayli is trained specifically in managing fearful children — including those with special needs. She has techniques to help even the most anxious child feel safe.
Parents sit beside their child throughout. Dr. Sayli explains each step to you as she goes — you are never in the dark. She answers every question, no matter how many times you ask.
Her fellowship is entirely focused on children — their dental development, how baby teeth affect permanent teeth, and procedures like pulp therapy and space maintainers. This is different from a general dentist who also sees children.

This is exactly what she is trained for. She has helped hundreds of terrified children leave smiling. Tell her about your child's fear when you call — she plans the first visit very carefully for anxious children.
Yes, absolutely. We encourage parents to be present, especially for the first visit and for younger children. Dr. Sayli will explain each step to you in real time.
A general dentist treats all ages and may occasionally see children. Dr. Sayli has done additional fellowship training focused entirely on children — their dental development, behaviour, and treatments. For your child, this difference is significant.

* In a review of 22 clinical trials, fluoride varnish reduced tooth decay by about 37% in baby teeth and 43% in permanent teeth (Marinho VCC et al., Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, 2013, doi:10.1002/14651858.CD002279.pub2). Results vary with each child's diet, brushing and cavity risk.
† We use comfort-first techniques, numbing gel and local anaesthesia when needed, so most children feel little or no discomfort. Every child is different; we explain what to expect before any treatment.
